Everything has been perfect with Atria Newburgh, they have been exceptionally well. The cost is very affordable; in fact, I've told a lot of friends and family that this would be the best place to bring... They need updating, maybe they could paint the rooms. I feel safe with my loved one there. The cook was always cheerful and shared recipes.
After a serious accident, Kathleen was admitted to the hospital. She was was severely injured with several broken bones that required surgery. Post-surgery, Kathleen was unable to walk or transfer and was in need of rehabilitation and nursing care before returning home.

They do not know much about to to manage my loved ones medications such as the dosages or timing so I think they could use some more training on that. Other than that things are going well. We are so lucky to have this facility in our town. When our loved one was on hospice the hospice team was wonderful and the nurses at Walnut Creek that were by our loved ones side were phenomenal, outstanding and extremely compassionate.
